Ascend Garage Storage was founded by Sean Nunan, an entrepreneur at heart since the age of six when he sold American flag hats from a radio flyer wagon at his sister’s soccer games. Through his teenage years, he photographed regional and national collegiate sporting events, later becoming one of the youngest athletic directors in Colorado high school history after discovering a passion for teaching and coaching.

After spending more than eight years in residential solar helping homeowners understand the benefits of renewable energy, Sean encountered a personal storage challenge while building a camper for his truck. Living alone in Colorado without nearby family, he struggled for over a month to find help removing his truck topper. After installing a garage storage lift himself, the topper was removed effortlessly in under ten seconds — and the idea for Ascend Garage Storage was born.
